Flex Power Modules' high-efficiency PIMs comply with PICMG 3.0 ATCA standards
Flex Power Modules' PIM4610 and PIM4710 PIMs simplify the design of blade servers based on the AdvancedTCA standards and other applications. The PIM4x10 modules are rated up to 1,080 W with an efficiency level of up to 98.8%. They operate with an input range of 36 VDC to 75 VDC. The module is an industry-standard quarter-brick sized package with a unique PIM pinning.
This PIM offers two variants including the PIM4610 rated at 16 A and the PIM4710 rated at 20 A. The PIM4x10 series features CISPR Class B EMI filtering, inrush protection and hot-swap, dual (A/B) feed OR-ing, holdup management, reverse polarity protection, and auxiliary power management rails. These PIMs are designed to fulfill the requirements of the PICMG 3.0 ATCA base specification.
The PIM4x10 modules can be used for the advanced telecom computing architecture (AdvancedTCA®) specifications, which are designed to provide an open, multi-vendor architecture for the next generation of carrier-grade communications equipment. These modules are suitable for industrial or ICT applications employing distributed power architecture.
