15W and 20W chassis/DIN rail mount dc-dc converters from XP Power

They can be installed to a chassis or DIN rail and connected via screw terminals and require no additional components for protection or EMC compliance.

The series offer 15W or 20W of power and suit applications including process monitoring and control, industrial robotics, elevators and moving walkways, safety monitoring, gaming systems, door control, communications and telemetry to name just a few.

The DTJ15 series has a general efficiency of 86% while the 20W variant runs at 88%.

The devices’ 4:1 input range covers 9VDC to 36VDC and 18VDC to 75VDC, suitable input sources including multiple nominal battery voltages and vehicle supplies, negating the need for multiple dc-dc products.

Both series offer a total of 14 variants with single-output (3.3V, 5.0V, 12.0V & 15.0V) and dual output (±5.0V, ±12.0V & ±15.0V) options in both input ranges.

Single output types allow the output voltage to be trimmed by ±10% to accommodate voltage drops in cabling when the load is located remotely.

A remote on/off enables the DC-DC converters to be controlled by software.

The series offer both reverse polarity protection and built-in input and output protection, designed to ensure the load and dc-dc converter are protected during any fault condition.

Operating temperature range is between -40°C and 100°C, aimed at use within harsh or sealed environments such as IP67 enclosures, although full power is only provided up to 80°C.

The devices can also operate at altitudes up to 5000m.

They’re compliant with EN55032 class A without any other components required.
